While the world is experiencing one of the best tours of the modern era, Beyoncé’s quote on the track Pure-Honey — IT SHOULD COST A BILLION TO LOOK THIS GOOD — is probably one of the truest things about the Renaissance World Tour.

Beyoncé’s highly anticipated first solo tour since The Formation World Tour (2016) is considered the biggest spectacle of the post-pandemic era. The 42-year-old American and her styling team put together the most glamorous silver fashions to translate the splendor of the record-breaking tour.

The album, released in July 2022, is a tribute to the queer community and the ballroom scene of New York. According to Beyoncé, the intention was to create a work free of perfectionism. With this, she has given space to a variety of fashion houses and independent designers to let their work dazzle on the stages of major cities in Europe and North America.

While Beyoncé is wrapping the tour up in North America, we listed the 7 most memorable outfits she’s put on stage so far.

Loewe catsuit with hand motif

Designed by Spanish brand Loewe, the hand motif catsuit is undoubtedly the most memorable look of the entire tour. The catsuit embroidered with crystals in a golden hue went viral on the DIY section of TikTok, where fans struggled to recreate the trompe l’oeil effect of the hands. To accentuate the look, Beyoncé combined it with gloves and red nails that poke through.

Mugler bee inspired bodysuit

In a custom piece by Mugler, the Houston-born singer paid tribute to her hive of fans with a wasp-shaped bodysuit made of hard metallic material. Reminiscent of architectural silhouettes, the legendary French house added cutouts, shades of black and yellow, and a custom helmet with antennae — modeled after those of a bee — to give life into one of the looks that will likely remain forever in the heart of Beyoncé’s devoted fanbase.

Iris van Herper ethereal flowing dress

In Amsterdam, Beyoncé chose the innovative Dutch designer Iris van Herpen to open one of her two concerts in the capital. The artist took the stage in a futuristic goddess-inspired tailored dress with a scale-like design and a figure-hugging silhouette. The piece is accented by an oversized collar and cape that blew during the performance of Dangerously in Love.

Alexander McQueen horse bodysuit

The provocative English fashion house — Alexander McQueen — also left its mark on the tour. Taking its cue from the horse on the Renaissance album cover, the brand designed Beyoncé a tailored bodysuit with sequined horse embroidery on a sheer tulle base for the opening act in Minneapolis.

Maison Valentino silver dress

On the Belgian night of the tour, Beyoncé embodied old Hollywood glamor in a tailored, floor-length gown. The dress was made of shimmering silver ivory silk and embellished with rhinestones. The deep side slit and long gloves call to mind red carpet fashion.

Courrèges asymmetrical bodysuit

In a nod to the Fall Winter 23 collection, Courrèges gave Beyoncé the most coveted bodysuit of this tour. The glitzy piece has an asymmetrical construction and mirror-like round hardware that alludes to the futuristic vibe of the album. It won our hearts as one of the most adored silver garments of the tour, which she wore on the European leg.

Loewe bespoke Look

Loewe’s silver fashions have made its name among Queen Bey’s legion of fans. Among them, these matching cargo pants and a bodysuit in all-over appliqué silver Swarovski crystals stood out. A 3D-printed bra in silver chrome finish accentuates the ensemble worn by the singer during the opulence act.
